LabVIEW 2026 Q1 and the Externally Changed Files List Dialog Box option

When the new Externally Changed Files List Dialog Box feature is activated, the use of the scripting tools provided by the DQMH framework makes the dialog pop-up.

Possible workarounds:

  • Leave the dialog open and minimized (it will update its list with the new files changed while using the Scripting Tools, but it will not be brought to the front when new file changes are detected)

  • Turn off the feature with the following LabVIEW INI token: FeatureToggle.Project.FileSystemMonitor=False

Error 1026 when validating a module

This error can be due to an expected VI in the following folder ..\LabVIEW XX\project\Delacor\DQMH_DQMH Validate Module\tests.

The easiest way to detect the issue is to uninstall the DQMH with VIPM. If one or more VIs remains in the tests folder, remove them manually, and then reinstall the DQMH framework. This should fix the issue.
